Gualandi Era and Architectural Transformation
Gualandi family acquired the estate of Asciano, shaping the villa's current external appearance.
Then the last Gualandi, Maria Lessandra, married Francis Franceschi, resulting in the villa and its lands passing to their lineage.
Evolving Ownership and swiss industrialist Oscar Tobler
In 1890, joint heiresses of Franceschi and Gualandi transferred the estate to their steward, Sabatino Fusi.
Subsequently, Oscar Tobler acquired the property. Finally, in 1939, Tobler sold the estate to the present owner's family, solidifying Villa Lungomonte's rich history within the Asciano Estate.
